What is UREC Interactive?
As LSU UREC moves forward, we are proud to integrate living a healthy lifestyle and technology. We now offer online services created to help those who are unable to make it to the SRC still take advantage of all we have to offer. Included in these online services are online GroupX classes, in which the GroupX instructor will help guide you through the workout through video, allowing you to take the class in the privacy of your own home.

Made for the more advanced Yoga participants, Power Yoga has all the benefits of Vinyasa Yoga but with an added challenge.
In this high-energy 30-minute cardio class, you will learn the basics of kickboxing while getting your heart rate up and working up a sweat.
Have you taken a core class in-studio or online before and would like a new challenge? This class is the challenge you are looking for. It will include more advanced core exercises to keep your core looking and feeling stronger than ever.

Do you practice Pilates, and are looking to advance through more challenging exercises? This class will challenge both your body and mind with the use of advanced moves and equipment, such as Pilates rings.
A subtle blending of Pilates and Yoga, this mind body experience focuses on muscle strength and toning, balance, body alignment, stabilization, and flexibility. The movements strengthen the entire body utilizing abdominals, back, hip, and postural muscles as the core of each movement while increasing blood flow.
Ever wonder how you can have fun while exercising?? This Hip hop inspired class is a great way to shake off the weekday chaos while improving cardiovascular fitness. In this class, you will practice combinations with up-beat moves and rhythmic body positions. No dance experience required.
Lengthen and strengthen your body using core muscle groups through a series of non-impact exercises designed to focus on deep muscles of the abdominal region. Benefits of Pilates include better posture, injury prevention, increased strength, and flexibility. Great for all experience levels.
This resistance training class will sculpt your body by working each major muscle group. This class utilizes your own body weight to provide you with a challenge every step of the way.
