Leisure pool in shape of “LSU” & 8 lane outdoor lap pool
A Functional Training Space with an 80 ft. ramp and equipment such as sleds and tires have students excited about new fitness areas!
New Challenge Course featuring hydraulic ziplines was completed during Phase 1, and now resides across from the SRC.
35 ft. climbing wall with bouldering area
4 softball fields, and new soccer and flag football fields will provide ample space for Intramural Sports and Sport Club games out at the Fields at River Rd.
Resource Room will provide a place for students to gain knowledge about how to stay active, eat healthy, and more!
This area will provide students the opportunity to get various fitness assessment testings completed as well as massage therapy.
The grand stairs will provide students the opportunity to unwind after a workout, catch the LSU game on TV, or challenge a friend in a game of table tennis.
A new Mind & Body Studio with windows that can be open or closed will be one of many additions to the Studio space at the SRC.
An indoor jogging trail with a 570 ft. inclined trail portion with 3 degree slope between levels will enable joggers to run up/down between floors.
Additional court space will include a new MAC Gym. 3 multi-purpose courts will be lined for basketball, badminton, futsal, handball, & volleyball.
Renovated SRC lockerooms, additional locker rooms by the Outdoor Pools, and Individual Changing Rooms will provide more space for members to get ready for their workout!
An administrative area accessible via public space will be featured in the new facility, as well as additional conference space for various functions.
A new addition to the facility will be an Outdoor Adventure Center where members may drive up to the facility in order to load up rented outdoor gear.
9 new tennis courts and 360 additional (2 hour) parking spots were completed and available for use in Fall 2014.
Performance Training Studio will be utilized primarily for Personal Training services and Small Group Training classes.
