Tiger’s Den Summer Camp

Thank you for considering Tiger’s Den Summer Camp for children aged 6 – 12. We strive to offer the best programs in an inclusive environment that allow everyone to come and play. Our camp provides something new each and exciting each week for our campers, which makes it a great opportunity for parents to register for all weeks. While swimming and games will always be on the schedule, we try to introduce new activities each week to keep camp engaging for every camper.

How to Register


1)     Fill out the Camper Registration Form located HERE.

2)     Submit form(s) to the LSU Student Recreation Center for payment and processing.

Payment


LSU UREC accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Cash, and Checks. Checks should be made out to “LSU University Recreation Tiger’s Den.

Fees must be paid in full upon registration.

Registration Confirmation

Registration are processed on a first come, first serve basis. Cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express, can pay fees. Checks can made payable to LSU University Recreation. Upon registration, parents will receive an email on Thursday prior to the start of camp containing program information and mandatory waivers and medical forms.

Camp Cost

Registration for LSU Affiliates opens Feburary 1. LSU Faculty/Staff/Student – $160 per week/per child (Lunch Included)
Registration for LSU Community opens Feburary 15. Community – $180 per week/per child (Lunch Included)

Refund Policy

Notice of cancellation must be received by the Wednesday prior to the start of camp day in order to receive a refund.

Check-In

Check-in for camp will be held at the South Entrance (side of building across the street from Tri-Delta Sorority House) of the UREC and campers will be guided to our new renovated gymnasium.

Confirmation Kits

Once a child has been registered for Tiger’s Den, a confirmation packet will be emailed to the parents. This packet will be emailed within 24 hours of registration and includes mandatory waivers and medical forms.

These materials will need to be completed and returned by 5 p.m. the Thursday before the start of your camper’s first week of camp. These dates coincide with the registration deadlines listed above.

Camp Availability/Capacity

Tiger’s Den Summer camp is limited to 100 campers per week.

Refund Policy

Necessary Clothing

Children should come dressed for a full day of activity. We recommend activity clothes and athletic shoes. Open-toed shoes will not be permitted. Campers should bring items in a well-marked backpack or athletic bag. Conduct University Recreation reserves the right to dismiss a camper if their behavior jeopardizes the others campers’ safety and well-being.

Cancellation

University Recreation reserves the right to cancel any session or modify activities due to under-enrollment, facility issues, or circumstances beyond its control. Parents will be notified immediately if a session is altered in any way.
